Reading...

I am reading a lot which is sort of cheating on my getting better from my stroke. My Speech Tx said I should stop every so many pages and recall what has happened. Well, right now I am reading Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens and it is loooooong. But not only that, a normal Chs Dickens book has prorbably a dozen or so main characters that you must keep straight. This book however has probably twice that number and maybe as many as 30. So I thought I'd try to read something else bur nothing else works. The great thing about wahat I am reading is that every time I "open" my book (it is on my iPod) I can't remember where I am, who's talking and why. I remember many of the main characters but then again there are so many I don't remember that I've given up trying to keep track and everytime I read it is like a little story and although I have a general idea of what is going on with Little Dorrit and Mr. Clennam (name?) who are the main people, everyone else just is ... I don't know. Just a lot of people.

So, what are you reading?

I think you are intelligent enough to go back in the book and look up a character or scene if you want to. Dickens is certainly a major undertaking for someone who has some memory disfunction! "The Stand" by Stephen King about busted me when I read it years ago. He would jump from large groups and individuals from chapter to chapter, and sometimes you would just feel like giving up because he made you work so hard at trying to keep them straight.

Yeah, but my whole thing is number one, I have no desire anymore after about twenty times of going and looking up so-and-so is which may be back five gargantuan things back (also, being on my phone makes it impossible to go back very easily.). And number two is basically the same thing only slighlty different so I know it sucks and so I just read and eventually it comes to me (although it may take a while). So I guess that is using my brain, right? Too bad I can't or won't go back every few pages but honestly, who reads like that???

I AM CURRENTLY RE-READING "I AM NOT SPOCK" BY LEONARD NIMOY. IT WAS WRITTEN IN THE MID-70S, BEFORE ANY OF THE MOVIES WERE MADE. I READ THE SEQUEL, "I AM SPOCK" PROBABLY IN THE LATE 80S OR 1990S. I THINK MART MAY HAVE LOANED ME HIS COPY AS I DON'T THINK I HAVE THAT BOOK.

MY PREVIOUS READING WAS ONE OF BIG PLAIN V'S BOOKS.

I commented on FB, but I can't remember what I said, so I'll comment again.

I'm not reading anything right now, but I really really want to, and I really really need to. Just gotta get to the library.

Aunt Eileen told me about a book called Madame Michaelangelo...it's all about his mother. It's probably historical fiction, so it will have a lot of fact thrown in. I hope I can get it through the library.

There are keys on my keyboard that are starting to stick....but I think that repeated comment is because it wouldn't publish, I kept getting a box that wanted my password and I typed it in 3 times...oh well...old people repeat themselves, what can I say?

Good day, sun shines!
There have been times of hardship when I felt unhappy missing knowledge about opportunities of getting high yields on investments. I was a dump and downright stupid person.
I have never imagined that there weren't any need in large initial investment.
Now, I feel good, I begin to get real money.
It's all about how to select a correct partner who utilizes your funds in a right way - that is incorporate it in real business, parts and divides the profit with me.

You may get interested, if there are such firms? I have to tell the truth, YES, there are. Please be informed of one of them:

I am not anonymous. Whoever anonymous is, they can go FFFF themselves. I hate when "they" intrude and I hope there is a special place in hell for them.
