This was probably the best Christmas/bday season I've ever had. It was just lovely from start to finish in spite of being terribly, horribly busy and the sadness of Chris' dad and Melissa's mom just passing. All-in-all, we gave the kids great stuff they really love and Chris totally absolutely outdid himself with my prezzies. :) Plus, the bday prezzies were on the hot tip, so everything is hunky dory in my life.
However, the other day I askidentally did the FB thing which is something I deeply resisted but felt curious about and finally acquiesced to, all of which has left me scratching my head over the shameless self-promotion of brother dear. 72 friends, hellow!?!? You are just friending everyone apparently. For shame. Ray, I hate to say it, but....you've become an FB ho. You need to find out what is happening with your book, after all moving to 2nd shift was about "writing" not "FB-ing." And no I am not jealous that I don't have mad hours to play and make friends on FB. I am just too busy in my quaint little life anyway. So nyah. ;)

I know, I know. I feel guilty as hell. And now people are seducing me to join Twitter, which is even faster paced.
And don't worry about the book. My agent has taken his sweet time to look over my revisions, but he emailed me on Friday to tell me that he would be done this week...
... and we should be submitting to publishers by the end of January.
WOW!!!! Congrats!!!!!! We'll have to have another big bash to celebrate huh!?!? ;)
It's so funny you mention twitter, I just saw this morning one of my morning news guys has FB, blog and now....Twitter. I had made a mental note to check it out, but now that I hear it is even more fast paced than FB, I know it is way out of my league. What can you do like once in a great while and still feel tech savvy? Blog. And that's about my speed.
I have made up my mind I will never FB. Why? I can't even keep up with my blog. And I can't keep up with my friends that are real and not just cyber-buddies. I don't even see enough of my own family. So...twitter away...I just ain't that kind!
You're hubby did a really good job for Christmas and your birthday.
As far as FB - one of the things I find really funny, is that my really old customers all fb.
HA - that must mean you and ray are old :)
Vee: Agreed! I'm friending like cracy and then I thought, what the hell am I doing (other than competing with Mr. 72 Friends there).
Shorty: Yes, my hubby sure is a grand fella. I love that man. As for being old, yeah, we tend to catch on at the tail end of a rapidly fading trend don't we? I'm with mom, I prefer blogging as it is a hundred times more my speed.
I WAS WONDERING WHEN YOUR AGENT WOULD GET BACK TO YOU. I'LL BET THAT BOOK'LL BE ON BARNES AND NOBLE'S BOOKSHELVES BEFORE TOO LONG!!
GUESS YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF!! (BG)
Um, hellow hubbyman! Post about ME this is MY blog. Besides....Veenie boy doesn't answer my wall postings. Huhdy huff huff huff!
I don't know if you've noticed, but I don't FB consistently. A lot for a couple days. None for a week.
Moi aussi (me too). It's ok. I don't feel dissed anymore. I decided responses are not necessary.
