1.) Can he look any more simple minded? Perhaps he was trying out for an extra in Mary Popins?
2.) You shouldn't encourage Chantze to hack up his sisters. Notice how Paige is menacing him with her wand. Love the expression.

He looks so proud, like he invented something...hey Ma, look what I can do!
What is funny about Chantze is that I have a similar picture of another Halloween where he is standing next to the twins with a big weapon pointed at them, as they stand sweetly in their fairy costmes. Yes, a picture is worth a thousand words!
I remember Emily onstage as a wee little cow, what a lovely sweet memory!
Grace always liked being upside down, when you held her upside down as a baby I would worry but she would giggle and wiggle like it was some kind of carnival ride...
That's what I love about old pictures...they just warm the heart and bring back great memories.
As for ol' Bushey, he does look rather proud, does he not? He's a smug man - even when he can't manage his own umbrella.
