Ok, watch now!
This is a shout-out to my brother who says to raise the flag when he should tune into the Presidential race. Ok, I'm raising the flag! The time to pay attention is now! There is a debate tonight! John McCain will probably lose! If he does, his campaign is over! And then the rest of the world can breathe a sigh of relief! And my whole family will be happy! Except Ray and Cindy cuz they like Republicans! I tend to swing both ways! But I don't like McCain! I think he's dishonest and a crook! And I hope he loses tonight! So tune into the debate! It's tonight! At 9 o'clock! Since you work 2nd shift, you will be able to catch all the re-cap after work and probably the debate too! So watch! Ok!

A married woman shouldn't swing both ways.
You got me figured wrong, girl. I voted for Clinton.
So okay. I'll start checking things out. Despite my attempts to insulate myself, I've already been collaterally fed a bunch of anti-McCain information.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there some sort of third political party that's not a complete joke?
Some people who don't like either party choice are going to write in Al Gore. Judging by the pundit's critique of the debate I would say Obama has most people convinced he is the man to elect for president. I guess it all boils down to whom you believe...most politicians promise much but deliver much less...I think Obama might do a better job simply because it seems more people would go along with him and help him implement his ideas. I don't care who wins as long as they save us...rescue us, please!
Shorty: Leave it to you.....my own sister thinks I'm a swinger. Jeesh! Shucks! Aw, f*ck.
BPV: Oops, looks like I got your party affiliation wrong. Butcha know, Clinton in 92 was the last time I felt really good about voting for someone. It would be nice to feel really good about voting for someone again. I'm almost there, but not quite. Now, if Hilary were nominated....I'd be there! As for the debate, hope you didn't bother. What a snooze!! I actually did fall asleep in spite of all my efforts to stay engaged. That's a mighty sad statement, I must say.
Vee: Obama reminds me of Clinton - full of ideas to help the average American. The problem is that when it comes to implementing those ideas, a lot of times the fighting starts, and you end up with a whole lot of nothing. Oh, except pork. You do get that.
I am very concerned about your extensive use of the exclamation point! in this post! Perhaps this election has you too excited?! I think you should definitely discuss this in therapy! Once we get universal health care that is!
I wish it was Hillary too!!!!!!!!!!
I did watch the debate and guess what? I'm a republican again!
Just kidding. I am simply more knowledgeably undecided.
ALL THAT PORK REMINDS ME OF...."SPIDER-PIG! SPIDER PIG! DOES WHATEVER A SIPDER-PIG DOES!!
Melly: Hee hee! :) Loved your comment. It was so fun putting all those exclamation points in. Glad you enjoyed them. I was actually hoping to garner a lot more attention for my over-use of !!! Sigh. At least someone noticed!!

BPV: I am proud of you, boy! That's the way to get invested and feed your brain! Not that the debate did much to help voters make a decision unless, like myself, McCain reminds you of a rat-weasel in which case you can't bring yourself to vote for him. :)
Hubbyman: Good one! Brought a smile to my face and a chuckle to my jaded cynical heart.
also, i loved how you gave a shout out to your brother. kind of reminded me when Palin gave that shout out to those first graders.
copy-cat!!!!
Bravo, what words..., a brilliant idea
