Ain't Breathing Grand?

Hidey ho, peeps, I'm finally able to breathe again. I have noticed over the last couple days that I usually wake up feeling pretty tight about the chest and typically have coughing spells until I get to my inhaler and open up the old bronchial tubes and then - voila! Air. You'd never know how wonderful it is to breathe without working at it until you actually have to work at it and then not work at it. Makes you appreciate the ol' factories.

The pic at right is Emily being her usual self. Who couldn't love a face like that?

I'm very glad you're feeling better :)

G: Yes, Emily is under the unfortunate delusion that she gets this from her father. The weird looks...yes. The humor? What, from a man that doesn't laugh?!?! Please.

Shorty: Yeah, she has an uncanny resemblence to you in this pic. Especially around the eyes and missing teeth. :)

Emily's cute.

I suffer from asthma, I take medication [Flixotide] daily, and I walk, eat lotsa fruits 'n' veggies, to keep them ol' factories working.

I wish there was a cure for mosquitoes!!!

GG: I've been so wheezy and asthma-y since I got ill that I'm beginning to wonder if getting Bronchitis and pneumonia can cause someone to contract asthma? I know that without the inhaler I would be in bad shape. I know that exercise can help people with breathing problems, and I've actually been wanting to exercise, but I get so out of breath just moving around (thanks to the lung ailments), that I am afraid to do it, afraid I won't be able to breathe.

Now, for those darn mosquitoes! Here's my cure for mosquitoes: winter! That's right, here in Michigan we don't have problems with mosquitoes in the fall and winter because they all die off due to the cold weather. See, you just need to move away from your haven-in-the-world Guyana and move some place practically inhabitable like Michigan! :)

hahaha yes, just what we need, winter. We complain when it's 20 something degrees celcius...what's that in farenheit? 70-something?

What did your doc. say about the asthma and breathing? Oh gosh, I hope you get better soon.

GG: Oh, must be soooo difficult living in such a climate! :)

I will go in tomorrow for another evaluation if I'm not much better. My mom wants me to go today, but I'm seeing improvement today, so I'm giving it another day. I guess it's just a loooong recovery with bronchitis and pneumonia. Although the doc said it might have caused some asthma from the irritation. We shall see! But thank you for asking. :)
